About Hani M. Seoudi, MD

Dr. Hani Seoudi is an acute care surgeon board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He has been a team member at Inova Fairfax Medical Camps since 2002. In addition to managing a wide range of surgical diseases, Dr. Seoudi has a special interest in the management of surgical emergencies, traumatic injuries and anterior exposure of the thoracic and lumbar spine.

Dr. Seoudi is an associate professor of surgery at the UVA School of Medicine, where he is the director of the critical care medicine course in the surgical/trauma ICU. In addition, he participates in the training of surgical residents from the DC area. He is a member of various hospital committees at Inova Fairfax Hospital including the Department of Surgery Quality Improvement Committee and the Trauma Committee. Prior to moving to the Northern Virginia area, Dr. Seoudi served as an assistant professor of surgery at UMASS and the Trauma Medical Director at Berkshire Medical Center. In his spare time Dr. Seoudi enjoys working in his garden, baking artisan bread and nature photography.
