The Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME) at Inova Fairfax Hospital provides new and relevant educational opportunities for physicians practicing at Inova Health System as well as for physicians practicing throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
The Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Medical Society of Virginia, which enables us to provide Category 1 credit for all of our programs. Each program must meet the Essentials and Standards of the Medical Society of Virginia and be approved by the CME Review Committee.
2009 conferences and Grand Rounds
There are several ways to participate in CME. You can attend a program and apply what you learn to your practice. You can be a program speaker or, if you are an Inova Health System physician, you can become a program director.

Non-Inova CME meetings
CME activities developed by outside entities, such as medical societies, hospitals and other CME entities, are prohibited from meeting at Inova facilities. Learn more about non-Inova CME events.
