COMMUNITY CLASSES
Fitness and Well-Being
A wide variety of classes that focus on the body, mind and spirit.
Classes are offered throughout the Northern Virginia area and
are designed for all ages and abilities.
Childbirth Education
A comprehensive educational program for all members of the child-bearing family. Learn about the numerous classes in the Childbirth
Education brochure.
Maternity tours of Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital are available in English. Maternity tours of Inova Fairfax Hospital are also available in Spanish.
CPR and First Aid
Inova HealthSource offers the entire range of American Heart Association CPR, AED, First Aid, ACLS and PALS courses.
Healthy Lifestyles
A variety of class offerings for healthy eating, tobacco cessation, pre-diabetes education and online Personal Coaching programs.

given at Inova hospitals and other locations by Inova

Congregational Health
Partnership
Assists faith communities to build the infrastructure and
capacity to impact health and reduce health disparities
in communities in Northern Virginia. CHP provides
training, consultation, technical assistance and networking
opportunities for diverse ethnic and multi-faith partners. 703-321-2602
Prevention and Self-Care
Promotes health and well-being through our public screenings and vaccinations.
During flu season our Fight the Flu program
is busy protecting individuals at various public

Tobacco Prevention and Cessation
A variety of free tobacco-prevention and intervention programs for K–12 are offered
to local schools, and communities. Tobacco-cessation programs
are fee-based and open to adults interested in quitting. 703-698-2428
WORKPLACE SERVICES
Workplace Health
Inova's Workplace Health offers local employers onsite health-promotion and disease-prevention programs, including health-screening services and seminars. Health screenings include,
but are not limited to, cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure,

Prevention and Self-Care
Promotes health and well-being through workplace vaccinations and TB screening. During flu

Childcare Health Information Resource Program (CHIRP)
Offers onsite and community classes to satisfy state-mandated trainings for childcare facilities. Training includes
Medication Administration Training (MAT), Pre-Medication Administration Training (PMAT) and Daily

Care Management
Inova's Care Management programs enable you to actively
manage chronic health conditions through self-care and education.
These
unique

Cancellation decisions for classes being held in the Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church and Fairfax County areas are based on Fairfax County Public School cancellation policies. Cancellation decisions for classes being held in the Loudoun County area are based on Loudoun County Public School cancellation policies.
