through community involvement.
“It is an honor to be selected for this
incredible program,” Goldberg said. “The membership is confirmation that Inova
Mount Vernon Hospital has a commitment to reinvesting in the diverse community
it serves, whether that is locally or regionally, by providing resources
including human capital.”
This year’s class includes 44 executives in a
variety of fields including business, education, healthcare, non-profit and
government. The class members are experienced, recognized leaders within
their professions, seeking to bolster progressive change through active
community involvement, making the state more competitive in the
future.
"We’re very pleased with David’s appointment," said Barbara Doyle,
CEO, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. "Inova Mount Vernon Hospital cares about the
health of the community and LEAD VIRGINIA will help us to continue to be a
partner in improving the well-being of the state.”
LEAD VIRGINIA educates
participants about regional differences and statewide needs through seven,
two-day sessions held throughout the Commonwealth. The program offers leaders a
forum for gaining deeper understanding into complex statewide issues and
challenges and then working within and outside the political arena to bring
forth positive change for Virginia.
