Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the New Year's Day holiday – Wednesday, Jan. 1.

About Chandrika Balgobin, DO

Chandrika Balgobin, DO, FAPA, PMH-C, is a psychiatrist who is board certified in psychiatry and consultation-liaison psychiatry, with additional training and certification in maternal mental health and perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International. She joined Inova in 2016 with clinical interests and a research focus in women's mental health.

Dr. Balgobin has received numerous academic and teaching awards and is an inductee of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She earned her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her psychiatry residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and is a graduate of George Washington University Medical Center/Inova Fairfax Hospital's consultation-liaison psychiatry fellowship.
