Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages. 

This clinic is designed for patients with a known or suspected genetic cause, especially when early-onset, atypical or strongly present in family history.

Patients who may benefit from the Adult Neurogenetics Clinic are have conditions with a known or suspected genetic cause, especially when early-onset, atypical or strongly present in the family history.

  • Neuromuscular disorders (myopathies, muscular dystrophies, ALS)
  • Movement disorders (Huntington disease, SCA, chorea, ataxia)
  • Dementias (familial Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementias)
  • Familial prion diseases
  • Peripheral neuropathy
  • Unexplained neuromuscular/neurological symptoms

Natalie Hauser, MD

Medical Geneticist

Dr. Natalie Hauser is a specialty care physician board certified in clinical and biochemical genetics at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2015 and has been practicing since 2010. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Hauser worked as a clinical geneticist in Fresno, CA.

Adult and Inpatient Genetic Counselor

Olivia is an inpatient and adult genetic counselor in the Inova Genetics Department. She received her bachelor of science in global health from Georgetown University and her master's in genetic counseling from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
