Bhumi has been affiliated with Inova Physical Therapy Center since 2010 and is currently working as a staff physical therapist at IPTC Dulles South. She graduated from SNDT University, Mumbai, India with a BS in Physical therapy in 2004. She has been working in outpatient Orthopedics since then. She has been working as a licensed therapist in the US since 2008.

Bhumi has been working with different patient populations but has special interest in treating patients in working on Mechanical, Neuro muscular and motor control dysfunctions,. She looks at the body as a whole and treats the dysfunction along with patient education on posture and body mechanics and hence restore functions at their best and improve quality of life and prevent future injuries.

Bhumi is bilingual and is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati. Bhumi is pursuing her DPT through Shenandoah University and has taken multiple continuing education classes with IPA and Great lakes.
