Brooke Bokor, MD, MPH, FAAP, FSAHM
Dr. Brooke Bokor is the Medical Director of Inova Children’s Adolescent Medicine and is a specialty care physician board certified in pediatrics and adolescent medicine.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Bokor was the Fellowship Director and Director of Medical Education for the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's National Hospital.
Dr. Bokor received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2003 and completed her residency and fellowship training at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She received her master’s in public health in 2009 and a graduate certificate in medical education and human development in 2015 through the George Washington University Master Teacher Leadership Development Program in Washington, DC.
Dr. Bokor has been long committed to training the pipeline of future providers to meet the needs of teens and young adults. She advocates for and models a holistic and strength-based approach to patient care, with a focus on shared decision-making and helping youth navigate their transition to adulthood.
Dr. Bokor’s academic practice focuses on consultative care for young people ages 8-25. She covers a wide range of health issues concerning adolescents and young adults of all genders, including puberty, reproductive and sexual health, scrotal and breast disorders, gender care, eating disorders, and substance use.
During her free time, Dr. Bokor enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, visiting restaurants, playing instruments, attending musicals, and traveling.
