Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Carolyn M. Rosner, NP

Carolyn Rosner, MSN, NP-C, MBA, is the Director of Innovative Programs at Inova Schar Heart and Vascular. She oversees the strategy and operations of several cardiovascular programs, including ECMO, cardiogenic shock, complex coronary therapeutics, urgent heart failure clinic, adult congenital heart disease and interventional heart failure. Her clinical and research expertise encompasses the management of cardiogenic shock and complex coronary artery disease, as well as decompensated heart failure.

Carolyn joined Inova in 2002 and has worked in a variety of areas including the CICU, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant, Thoracic Surgery and most recently general cardiology.

She obtained a BA in Exercise Physiology from Cedarville University, prior to completing all nursing education at Marymount University, including an MSN with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011.  She completed an MBA in Health Care Management at Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School in 2021.

Carolyn is passionate about improving access, quality and value in cardiovascular care along with the utilization of advanced practice providers in the health care system.
