Cheryl Krause is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and joined Inova Physical Therapy Center in September 2016. A recent graduate from NVCC’s PTA program, Cheryl has been involved in several clinical rehabilitation experiences, consisting of multiple successful outcomes.

Prior to receiving her PTA license, Cheryl attended George Mason University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology. Having experienced the rehabilitation process first hand, coupled with her internship at Inova Fairfax’s Cardiac Rehab Program, she has developed a deep passion for helping those in need. Cheryl has also gained extensive knowledge in therapeutic exercise after working with various patient populations as an Exercise Specialist. She has developed an interest in sport orthopedic injuries and is actively participating in continuing education classes to learn the latest research and rehabilitation topics.

A northern Virginia local, Cheryl utilizes her free time traveling and enjoying the outdoors. Her activities will change with the season, such as hiking, biking, running, and snowboarding. Every year she attempts to snowboard down a different mountain.
