Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Geni George, DNP, NP

Geni George is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2001.

Prior to joining Inova, Geni worked as a nurse practitioner at Medical Access Urgent Care in Alexandria, VA. She earned her doctor of nursing practice from Radford University. Geni’s clinical areas of interest include preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

Geni’s patient care philosophy is that each individual is unique, with specific needs and susceptibilities. She believes in providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to patients with a holistic approach, acknowledging their unique situations, and educating and empowering patients to take charge of their health and body. Geni’s patient care goals are to promote health and prevent diseases across the lifespan.

Outside the office, Geni gives back to the community by volunteering at the free clinic and local food pantry. She also enjoys gardening, listening to music and spending time with her family.
