Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the New Year's Day holiday – Wednesday, Jan. 1.

About Hamiyet K. Outzen, NP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Hamiyet Outzen is a primary care nurse practitioner certified in family medicine at Inova. She has a special interest in management of preventive medicine, peri- and post-menopausal treatment, overall wellness and the management of acute and chronic illnesses. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

Hamiyet believes in a conservative and patient-centered approach to diagnosis and treatment. Her goal is to help patients understand all of their treatment options and to be full partners in their care.

She has been with Inova since 2016, and has more than six years of clinical experience in primary, urgent and emergency care.

A native of Turkey, Hamiyet currently resides in Fairfax County, VA, with her husband and three children. In her spare time she likes to garden, cook, travel and care for animals.
