About Kim A. Baker, MD

Dr. Kim Baker is a specialty care physician board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Her area of expertise is pediatric otolaryngology. She joined Inova in 2024 and has been practicing since 2004.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Baker was a pediatric otolaryngologist at Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Institute of South Texas in San Antonio. Dr. Baker also held the title of clinical assistant professor in the department of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and served as their director of pediatric otolaryngology at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, prior to moving to Texas.

Dr. Baker’s clinical area of interest is general pediatric otolaryngology including the management of otitis media, obstructive sleep apnea, congenital head and neck masses, and airway disorders.

Dr. Baker believes in providing high quality and accessible care to families in a caring and compassionate environment. Her goal is to help patients live healthy and fulfilling lives. She collaborates closely with patient’s families as they are essential to their child’s health and wellbeing. Dr. Baker enjoys educating her patients and their families so that they can make the best decisions regarding their child’s health.

Through international outreach and medical missions, Dr. Baker has been able to combine her love for travel and passion for pediatric otolaryngology. She is excited to be a part of Inova and be able to provide care to the families of the DMV area.
