About Luisa Villatoro Benitez, DNP, FNP
Luisa Villatoro Benitez is a family nurse practitioner who holds a doctorate in nursing practice. She first joined Inova in 2020 and has been practicing as a nurse since 2018. She is dedicated and committed to providing exceptional care to her patients.
Prior to her new role at Inova, Luisa was a women’s postanesthesia care unit registered nurse at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Luisa has a keen interest in managing chronic conditions, preventive care and women's health. She enjoys working with diverse patient populations, as she believes in the importance of holistic and culturally competent care.
Her patient care philosophy centers on empowerment and education. She strives to create a collaborative environment where patients feel informed and involved in their health decisions. Luisa’s primary goal is to foster long-lasting relationships with her patients, helping them navigate their health journeys with confidence.
Outside her professional life, Luisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and staying active.
