Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Melissa A. Dhas, NP

Melissa Dhas is a women’s health nurse practitioner at Inova Health System. She initially joined Inova in 2011 as a registered nurse and has been practicing as a nurse since 2011. Melissa has four years of experience as a women’s health nurse practitioner in an outpatient OB/GYN setting and seven years of experience as a critical care registered nurse in adult and neonatal settings. 

Previously, Melissa worked as a women’s health nurse practitioner at Capital Women’s Care in Haymarket, VA.

Melissa enjoys working with women of all ages, from adolescence to childbearing and into menopause. Her current experience allows her to manage all appointment types including routine preventive care, contraception consultations, abnormal bleeding, family planning, pregnancy, gynecologic problems and menopause. Melissa’s goal is to give each patient the best experience through a caring nature, attention to detail, clear communication and clinical experience.

Melissa currently resides in Centreville, VA, with her husband, daughter and dog. Outside the office, she enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends.
