Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Mina M. Garrett Scott, MD

Dr. Mina Garrett Scott is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joined Inova Health System in 2020 and has been practicing since 2003.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Garrett Scott worked at The Institute for Genomic Research in Rockville, MD, on the Human Genome Project and developed a passion for genomics research and its impact on the future of medicine.

She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children. She is an active member at her church and serves on the Health Ministry and Hospitality Ministry, using some of her expertise to bring medicine to the community. She enjoys cooking, nature walking, swimming and relaxing at the Jersey Shore near her hometown with family and friends.
