About Mysore V. Maitri, MD

Dr. Mysore Maitri is a physician board certified in internal medicine. She joined Inova Primary Care – Ashburn Healthplex with more than 15 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in the management of diabetes and hypertension.

Most recently Dr. Maitri served as an internist with Virginia Medical Alliance.

Dr. Maitri's interest in internal medicine stems from her commitment to taking care of all aspects of her patient's health. Her goal is to work with her patients as a team through education and practice toward improved health and a healthier lifestyle.

A native of Mysore, Karnataka, India, Dr. Maitri currently resides in Ashburn, Virginia, with her husband, daughter, and son. In her spare time she likes to travel and read and enjoys listening to music. She also enjoys community service.
