Robert B. Stinger, MD


Dr. Robert Stinger is board certified and fellowship trained in orthopedic surgery with over 40 years of experience. He spent his entire surgical career serving Inova Fairfax Hospital. During his tenure, Dr. Stinger held the position of Section Chief of Orthopedic Trauma and Adult Joint and Reconstructive Surgery.
Prior to residency, Dr. Stinger served as a physician with the National Health Service Corps. He recently retired from surgery and now attends a full-time office practice.
In his free time, Dr. Stinger enjoys everything outdoors. He frequents his cottage on Roanoke Island, NC, where is a beekeeper, an oyster farmer, and owns a small vineyard. He also enjoys boating, fishing and gardening.
