With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the New Year's Day holiday – Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Sandra Tirado, MD

Dr. Sandra Tirado is an Internal Medicine Primary Care Physician at Inova Health System. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. She joined Inova with extensive clinical experience after running a successful private practice in Vienna, Virginia. She has a special interest in the management of hypertension, diabetes and obesity.

Dr. Tirado became interested in Internal Medicine while training as a physician. In this field of medicine she was able to care for all aspects of the patients’ health with appropriate referral to specialist colleagues when necessary. Her goal is to prevent illness and maintain the well-being of all patients in partnership with colleagues and patients.

A native of New York City, Dr. Tirado currently resides in Fairfax County with husband. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and reading.
