Dr. Sheri Kochendoerfer is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2017.
She is passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal health and vitality throughout life. She is dedicated to preventing and reversing chronic illnesses, empowering patients to maintain strength, and optimizing their wellbeing as they age.
After medical school, Dr. Kochendoerfer completed her residency in internal medicine at York Hospital in Pennsylvania, where she was honored with the prestigious Resident of the Year Award for her exceptional dedication to patient care and clinical excellence.
As an active member of the Healthy Longevity Medicine Society, Dr. Kochendoerfer contributes to advancing the field of longevity medicine. This international group of physicians focuses on fostering research, setting professional guidelines and educating practitioners on best practices for healthspan optimization.
Originally from Clyde, OH, Dr. Kochendoerfer has lived in Northern Virginia since 2006. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and her golden retriever, taking on DIY home projects, and exploring local trails. Dr. Kochendoerfer brings a unique combination of expertise, compassion and dedication to her patients, helping them achieve their healthiest and most vibrant lives.
