Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Stephen C. Clement, MD

Dr. Clement attended the University of South Alabama Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals in New Orleans, LA. He completed his fellowship in endocrinology at Joslin Diabetes Center, Boston, MA.

Dr. Clement served as a U.S. Army physician at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the role of director of the diabetes program. Following his army service he joined the faculty at Georgetown University where he was chief of the diabetes program and acting chief of the endocrine division. 

In 2014 he joined Inova Fairfax Hospital as director of endocrine services, with responsibility and oversight of endocrine consultation services for the hospital.

Dr. Clement's research interests are clinical diabetes, medical education and inpatient endocrinology.
