Inova's Centralized Credentialing Office provides comprehensive healthcare practitioner credentialing services to Inova facilities and medical groups.
The Centralized Credentialing Office complies with the standards of The Joint Commission (TJC), the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and all other applicable regulatory requirements.
Our purpose
- To provide credentialing services to the Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Providers in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct a thorough review and verification of credentialing information so Inova Health System entities can evaluate practitioners’ abilities to provide quality patient care
- To meet all legal, professional and accreditation requirements promulgated by public agencies and private organizations, including but not limited to federal and state regulations, and TJC and NCQA accreditation standards
