Insurance

Before the date of your surgery you will need to provide us with insurance information. Some insurance companies require pre-certification before surgery. It is your responsibility to ensure that all appropriate paperwork, provided by your surgeon, has been completed to allow our Business Office to obtain pre-certification from your insurance company. Your surgeon’s office staff should assist you in the process. You may also call your insurance company if you have any questions. If pre-certification is not obtained, your medical insurance may not cover the cost of your surgery.

When you arrive on the day of your surgery, we will ask you to sign a form stating you are financially responsible for any services rendered that are not covered by your insurance carrier. If you have questions or concerns before your surgery please contact our Business Office at 571-209-6443.

The following insurance carriers are contracted with Inova Loudoun Ambulatory Surgery Center:

It is our policy to collect any co-pays, co-insurances, and/or deductibles at the time services are rendered.

We have entered into contracts with the above insurance companies, which will often result in a discount of the billed charges. However, we cannot guarantee that your insurance company will pay any or all of these charges, and you will be responsible for that portion of the allowed charge not paid by your insurance company. Since your insurance contract is an agreement between you and the insurance company, any unpaid balance remains the responsibility of the patient or person who signs for financial responsibility of the account. We appreciate your assistance in ensuring prompt payment from your insurance company.

For your convenience we accept cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
