Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages. 

Appointments

Same day appointments are available at Inova Primary Care – Oakville. To schedule an appointment, call 571-665-6480.

Patient Forms

Before your appointment, please log into MyChart and complete your required forms and questionnaires in the MyChart Message Center.

If you are unable to download the forms, please arrive 20 minutes early to complete the registration forms. Please remember to bring your insurance card and photo ID to each visit. In addition, please bring a list of your medications (prescriptions and over-the-counter) to each visit.

Cancellations

We require a 24-hour notice of cancellation or change in your appointment date or time. Please call us if you are going to be late. You may be asked to reschedule or adjust your appointment.

Payment

We accept all major commercial insurance plans and Medicare. Co-pays and co-insurances are due at time of service. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.

Prescription Refills

If you are having a pharmacy call our office for your refill authorization, please contact your pharmacy before 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. This will help ensure a quicker response on our end. There may be a 48-hour turn around on your prescription refill.

Referrals

Some insurance plans require a referral from your family physician before making an appointment with a specialist. Referral authorizations may take 72 hours to process, so contact us as soon as the need for a referral arises.
