Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages. 

Life Support Classes

Cancellations and Refunds

  • To obtain a refund for ACLS/PALS classes, a request must be submitted 14 calendar days prior to the start of the class. All refunds will incur a 20% processing fee on the full registration amount. Refund requests received after the class has started will not be honored.
  • To obtain a refund for all other classes, a request must be submitted 7 calendar days prior to the start of the class. This applies to non-ACLS/PALS classes only. All refunds will incur a 20% processing fee on the full registration amount.Refund requests received after the class has started will not be honored.
  • If you register within the cancellation period, a transfer or cancellation will not be allowed.
  • Refund requests for medical reasons must be accompanied by a physician note and are considered on a case-by-case basis. Physician verification should be faxed to 571-472-1437 or emailed to myinovawell@inova.org.
  • Fees paid for online course key codes are not refundable after they have been issued.
  • Materials and cost of books may be refunded if unopened, in usable condition and returned within two weeks of class cancellation.
  • Students who arrive after the class has started will not be permitted to stay and a refund will not be issued.
  • Inova Well reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. To reschedule or request a refund in these situations call 571-472-1400. Classes not rescheduled within 30 days of cancellation will automatically be refunded to the credit card used for registration. These non-registrant initiated cancellations, refunds and transfers will not incur a 20% processing fee.

Transfers

  • Inova Well will accommodate class transfer requests up to 14 days prior to an ACLS/PALS class date. Inova Well will accommodate class transfer requests up to 7 days prior to the class date for all other Life Support classes. All registrants are entitled to ONE transfer per class. Repeated request for transfers will not be granted.

Childbirth Education Classes and Maternity Tours

  • To obtain a refund for any Childbirth Education classes, a request must be submitted at least 24 hour prior to the start of the class.
  • Fees paid for eClasses, including the Understanding Birth eClass, Understanding Pregnancy eClass, Understanding Your Newborn eClass, Understanding Breastfeeding eClass, and the Understanding Cesarean Birth eClass are not refundable after online access has been issued.
  • Inova Well reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. To reschedule or request a refund in these situations call 571-472-1400, option 2. Classes not rescheduled within 30 days of cancellation will automatically be refunded to the credit card used for registration.
