Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

Above all, clinical rotations and experienced preceptors, provide valuable insights on my areas of interests such as medication safety and Informatics. I chose Alexandria Hospital because: it is a community hospital that offers a wide variety of rotations including internal medicine, critical care, infectious disease, emergency medicine, and other variety of electives including NICU, and ambulatory care. Also, the residency program at Alexandria Hospital is designed to provide a great learning environment with exposure to a high-acuity patient population. At Alexandria Hospital, pharmacists are essential to the multidisciplinary team due to the variety of pharmacy services in providing patient care during both staffing and clinical rounds. Finally, the welcome from the staff and management during my interview has made it very appealing and exciting to be part of the pharmacy team.
