Inova Cares for Women

Inova Cares for Women - Alexandria opened in 2021 to serve residents of Alexandria and surrounding areas. The program is a service offered to the community in collaboration with the City of Alexandria Health Department, serving uninsured and low-income patients with household income up to 400 percent of the U.S. Federal Poverty Guidelines.

This clinic provides comprehensive outpatient obstetrical services and gynecological care as well as nonstress testing, all at little to no cost to the patient. Loop electrosurgical excision procedures and colposcopy procedures are available at this location.

Additionally, we provide support services including radiology, laboratory, genetic testing, diabetes management, case management, social work, family planning and nutritional counseling. Some specialty services may require travel to our Falls Church location.

Inova Cares for Women offers three locations in Fairfax County: Falls Church, Herndon and Mount Vernon. The program is a service offered to the community in collaboration with local health departments and community agencies, serving uninsured and low-income patients up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPL).

Our Fairfax County clinics provide comprehensive outpatient obstetrical services and gynecological care as well as non-stress testing, LEEP and colposcopy procedures at little to no cost to the patient. We also offer specialty gynecological care, including maternal fetal medicine, Gyn/Onc and Uro/Gyn services. Some specialty services may require travel to our Falls Church location.

Located on the Inova Loudoun Hospital Lansdowne medical campus, Inova Clinic for Women - Lansdowne provides comprehensive obstetric care to county residents who are uninsured, have limited resources, or are insured by Medicaid. The clinic is staffed by a team of board-certified OB-GYN physicians and midwives who are bilingual (English/Spanish) and dedicated to serving our diverse community. Prenatal education classes are also offered.

This program is a service of Inova Loudoun Hospital and offered to the community in collaboration with the Loudoun County Health Department and HealthWorks for Northern Virginia. Certain eligibility information is required.
