With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

Accreditation

We hold ourselves to the most rigorous standards when it comes to your safety and the quality of your care. In fact, the Inova Schar Cancer Institute Department of Advance Radiation Oncology and Proton Therapy was the first to be recognized in both the US and internationally with APEx Accreditation from the world’s premier radiation oncology society, the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).

To earn this distinction, we underwent a rigorous and objective peer review process that focused on our patient centered care, radiation oncology team, policies, procedures and facilities. We are the only provider of APex accredited radiation oncology services and care within the Northern Virginia region.
