Clinical Affiliate
The Medical Laboratory Science Program maintains a clinical affiliation with Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute, Inc., Chantilly, Virginia. This large reference laboratory receives numerous specimens for testing from the hospital. The Quest rotations provide the student with the opportunity to compare the working environment of a community hospital to a reference laboratory and to gain experience in the use of a variety of procedures and equipment supplemental to those taught at the hospital.
