Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages. 

Purpose

The Hotline is a reporting mechanism for compliance issues. Inova employees and other interested parties can use the Hotline to report suspected violations of federal, state and local law, as well as Inova policies and procedures relating to illegal or unethical conduct. The Hotline is to be used when other resolution channels have been ineffective or the caller wishes to remain anonymous.

Objectives

  • To assist in detecting violations of the Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations
  • To provide an internal avenue for employees to report, in good faith, any serious concerns or perceived violations

Operation

The Inova Compliance and Ethics Hotline is operated by an outside organization under contract with Inova. Calls are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hotline reports are emailed or faxed to the Inova Compliance Department at the conclusion of the call. All calls are confidential and the caller may remain anonymous. Inova policies prohibit any retaliation or retribution against anyone who calls the Hotline to make a report in good faith.
