Inova's support groups are available at a variety of locations in Northern Virginia. Support groups are condition-related and are run individually by individuals or departments who are able to maintain them.

A variety of breast cancer support groups, including "Survivors Offering Support" (SOS), a peer mentoring group led by survivors trained to provide knowledge, support and encouragement.

The Life with Cancer® program offers seminars, support groups, individual and family counseling and nursing consultations, to provide assistance in times of crisis, and information about specific cancers.
Our free, virtual support group is for adults living with epilepsy, and provides encouragement by helping patients meet others who have overcome challenges like their own. You will find acceptance and comfort from knowing that you are not alone.
Heart & Lung Transplant, VAD/Artificial Heart Support and Education Group
Transplantation is an unsettling experience for patients and their families. Regardless of where you are in the transplant process, you don't have to face your concerns or anxiety alone.
Talk about the challenges and joys of being a new mother. Facilitated by an experienced maternal-infant health educator. There is also a support group for new mothers returning to work.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus
TBI Group is open to TBI survivors, caregivers, and family members. This monthly group shares education, resources, and coping skills with those affected by traumatic brain injuries. TBI Group is co-facilitated by the Trauma Survivors Network (TSN) and Brain Injury Services (BIS).
